Food Safety & Quality

Food Safety & Quality Standards

For buyers sourcing agricultural products across borders, food safety is non-negotiable. At Agri Gold Asia, we treat quality control not as a checklist, but as a discipline built into every step of our supply chain — from how our farmers manage their fields to how your shipment arrives at the port.

Our systems are aligned with internationally recognized standards, giving importers, distributors, and retail buyers the documentation and traceability they need to source with confidence.

How We Control Quality Across the Supply Chain

A practical, stage-by-stage breakdown of what we do and why it matters to you.

1

Farm-Level Controls (Pre-Harvest)

We apply Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) across our contract farming network — monitoring pesticide and fertilizer use, enforcing hygiene protocols, and ensuring input records are maintained. This is where food safety begins, and we take it seriously before anything leaves the ground.

2

Post-Harvest Handling & Sorting

After harvest, products are sorted, graded, and handled under controlled conditions. We reject or downgrade any product that does not meet specification — no exceptions. Clean handling environments and defined grading criteria protect both product quality and buyer confidence.

3

Inspection, Testing & Rejection Protocols

We carry out regular in-process inspections and lab testing at key checkpoints. Our rejection protocols are clearly defined — any batch falling outside agreed parameters is flagged, documented, and removed from the supply chain before it reaches packaging or dispatch.

4

Storage, Packaging & Cold Chain

Products are stored under appropriate conditions and packed securely for export. Where required — particularly for fresh and perishable items — we maintain cold chain integrity from facility to container loading. Packaging meets the labelling and compliance requirements of your destination market.

5

Full Batch Traceability

Every shipment can be traced back to its origin farm, harvest date, and handling records. This traceability system is not just good practice — it is a practical tool for responding quickly to any buyer query, customs requirement, or market recall scenario, protecting your business as much as ours.

What this means for you as a buyer

Fewer surprises. Faster approvals. Cleaner documentation.

Audit-ready documentation

Certificates, test reports, and batch records available on request for customs and retail compliance.

Consistent spec compliance

Products arrive within agreed moisture, grade, and contaminant limits — every order, not just the first.

Market-specific compliance

We understand EU, GCC, US, and Australian import requirements and prepare documentation accordingly.
